Hand made ceramic breeze catchers
|
Hand crafted in Lincolnshire are this delightful range of ceramic
breeze catchers. Each piece has been individually cut and painted
on both sides, and carefully fired in the kiln by an innovative
method before being strung in a set, with strong yet invisible cat
gut, under a matching ceramic plate. Being ceramic they are frost
proof and sturdy and make a delightful sound when caught by the
breeze. However they are not gale proof, therefore they are best
suited to bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories or sheltered
porches.
To give an indication of size each individual pony is
approximately 3" high, with the breeze catcher measuring
12"-14" from the brass ring to the base of the bottom
pony. The cats, cows and sheep are a similar size, with the
farmyard set and seahorses being a little larger.
